	This one came to me the last time I watched ReiEarth eps 1-8, which,
unfortunately, are all that I have.

	That was several months ago, but anyway.


			      Unstoppable Future

		 you should be able to figure out what it is.

	I watch the stream of students, enjoying their youthfull exuberance.
It's so hard to believe they are only a year or two younger than I, when --
my left hand drops to the comforting bulk of the Desert Eagle at my hip, and
the single guard I can see perks up, looking around.

	I slide my hand into my skirt pocket, and he relaxes, a little.  High
pitched excitement draws me towards the pay binoculars ringing the observation
deck, and a smile touches my face at the sight of a cute young girl in a red
uniform, looking at the city.

	She gives out a dismayed squawk, and her friends cluster around, then
fault at her answer.  She quickly starts digging through her pockets, probably
looking for more coins, and I start to drift closer, fishing in my pockets for
change.  A taller girl with short blonde hair gets there first, and I get a
glance at the girl's face when she turns.  She is indeed really cute, a
little shorter than me. 

	I smile softly at my own silliness.

	The blond girl walks on, and with a quick declaration of intent the red
haired girl runs after to thank her.  I almost catch up when she is delayed by
a group of girls from one of the more expensive private schools, and one of
them, her pale blue hair loose, the ends flowing around her skirt, moves to
join the other two.

	A sudden bright flash of magical light flares through the windows,
somehow centered on the three in front of me, and I run towards them.

	`Tasukete,' I hear a female voice call, sounding far away, `densetsu no
majiku naito tachi yo,' and a faint pull wraps around my ankles as I run toward
the trio, grabbing for the nearest, the blue-haired girl.  The magic flows
around us, dousing us thoroughly, and the voice is louder this time, `Tasukete,
densetsu no majiku naito yo.'

	As suddenly as it sucked us in the magic lets us go once more.

	`Chikan!' the blue haired girl screams.

	`Mizuno Ami, hajimemashite,' I reply, not letting her go, since we are
falling still.  A quick glance around tells me we're not in Kansas, Tokyo,
Manchuria, or the Pocket.

	The girl in my arms stops struggling, her eyes darting around
franticly.

	`Ittai nani ga okottan deshou?' the blond haired girl asks.

	`You got dragged somewhere to save someone, I think.'

	`Somewhere?'

	`This is not your world,' and I don't know what mine is.

	`Koko wa doko da?!?!' the red haired girl screams.

	`Not a flaming clue,' I mutter in English.  Thoughts of hitting the
water from this altitude start flashing through my mind, so I distract myself
by calculating the impact force.  `Concrete,' I mutter after a moment.

	The giant translucent fish is very calming, and I rub my face against
its slick hide once I'm sure I'm not going to roll off, nor are any of my
companions.  `Thanks,' I murmur softly to the fish, which burbles back at me.

	I sit back on my heels and look at the others as we come over land.
With a sudden flash I can tell what's coming, and manage to land on my feet
when the fish drops us off.

	A quick glance tells me the blue haired girl, the only one who landed
really badly, is fine, so I stroke my knuckles over the side of the fish's
face, `Thanks, hitting the water would've really hurt.'

	The fish replies with a happy burble, then the red haired girl gives it
a hug, which the fish also likes, it seems.

	`I hadn't expected four.'

	We all turn at the strange voice.  It's owner is a short boy, with
pale purple hair and an elaborate costume.

	`I sorta tagged along for the ride,' I tell him, `I'm Mizuno Ami.'

	`Guru Clef.'

	`Ryuuzaki Umi.'

	`Shidou Hikaru.'

	`Hououji Fuu.'

	`You,' he turns to the younger girls, `have been drawn to this world
by Emeraude-hime, because Zagato, her high priest, has imprisoned her.  You
must find the Mashin, become the Magic Knights, defeat Zagato, and save this
world.'
